The purpose of this post is to receive YOUR feedback to move in the direction that best adovcates for YOUR climbing opportunities.

Please indicate what you think we should be working on specifically access issues that affect your area, land acquisitions or other ways we can support your climbing opportunities.Some of the people, agencies and areas we have worked on in the past are listed below. Opportunities that we have been exploring recently have also been listed for your consideration. Feel free to comment on present, future or other opportunities we have not listed. If you have questions about these, feel free to ask.

Private owners - through permission, land leases

Public agencies - North Carolina State Parks, US Forest Service, National Park Service

Places we have and continue to work:
Stone Mountain, Pilot Mountain, Hanging Rock, Crowders Mountain, Chimney Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway, Linville Gorge, Looking Glass, Cedar Rock, Big Green, Whitesides, Sauratown, Asheboro and Laurel Knob. . .

Present opportunities and prospects:

-securing access to West Side bouldering at Rumbling Bald

-securing access to Currently-closed climbing above Camp Hanes in NC Piedmont

-securing access to additional bouldering in High Country

-working with NC State Parks to secure access to areas with in Chimney Rock State Park and some day Grandfather Mountain SP
