This years Hound Ears may have been the best yet. The weather started out sketchy during the early week but suddenly made a turn for the better providing perfectly sunny, cool and beautiful conditions.

Friday night, we had another big turnout for the CCC's fall public meeting. A full wrap up of the meeting will be coming soon. We began the sale of the new Save Rumbling Bald T-shirts from Friksn. Leo, Justin and the crew at Friksn did a fantastic job of designing these shirts. They are now available on our website for order!

Fundraising at Hound Ears was spectacular. The psych for the Rumbling Bald West Side project was evident in the support of our fundraising efforts on both Friday and Saturday evenings. We had a membership donation of $600.00, made $700.00 off of the Friksn Tees, had a bangin' raffle that helped to raise $1,123.00 and sold $375.00 in Misty Mountain greats. A Five-Ten raffle raised $380.00 and the ultra generous folks of the Triple Crown Bouldering comp donated $4000.00 to our efforts. That's a total of over $7,000 for the CCC and Rumbling Bald Boulders!

A big thanks goes out to Mammut Ropes, Jimi Combs of Tsuga Canopys, Jessica Hoffman and Mountain Khakis, Harrison Shull, Mike Grimm and Misty Mountain, Mtn. Hardware Athlete Pat Goodman, Metolius, Norm and La Sportiva, Five-Ten and MSR. A great big thanks goes to Jessa Goebel and Justin and Leo at Friksn for hooking us up with some awesome Tees.
