SC Update
Things are really cooking in our efforts to increase climbing access in SC--I apologize for not being more persistent with getting the word out. In the past few months we’ve met with executive staff of SC’s Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Parks, Recreation, and Tourism (PRT) about bouldering and climbing potential on lands they manage. They are really interested in opening up some areas and are excited about partnering with the CCC.
Bouldering in CO
Hi everyone!
I'll be traveling with my boyfriend in August out to Colorado for a road trip to climb and end up at a friends wedding in Montrose CO. We're looking into different spots and wanted to check to see if any of you had any great tips or advice of some good climbs. Our trip will be taking us from Boulder to Gunnison, and Telluride for climbing. We've climbed before in NC, and WV so this will be our first big trip out west and want to make sure we don't skip out on anything! Thanks for the help!

Read This!! Take a second and help!!
OK, everybody, do you want to be an access warrior? Here is your chance to help out from your computer chair for free! The Nature Conservancy is asking for some help getting a grant for trail construction on the Nine Times Perserve in South Carolina. Why is this important to the CCC? The Nine Times Preserve holds a few boulders, but nothing of great climbing interest at the present; however, the preserve borders an area of extreme importance. Just accross the street lies Big Rock, and The Nature Conservancy could be a powerful alli in obtaining access there in the future. The land the Nine Times preserve lies on now was owned by the same company that still owns Big Rock.
