The Southeast face is subject to seasonal closures and is only open from Sept 1 thru Dec 31. This short season is unfortunate and denies access to arguably the best piece of granite in its prime season. The CCC has initiated dialog with the SC State Parks to see about altering the closure dates in the future so that the window of opportunity is a bit longer. We will keep you posted on the progress but don't expect anything to change too fast. To help out - make your voice heard. Contact the park office at Table Rock office (info below) and make sure that they know that climbers are a viable and responsible user group that deserves access to the crag.
