The past year has seen the 20th anniversaries of the creation of both the Access Fund and The SCC and more years of activism by the CCC! Come help us celebrate and raise money to support the incredible work of these great organizations in support of Climbing in the Southeast!
One in five Climbing areas are still threatened with closure and severe restrictions in the United States. This is even more true in the Southeast where so much of our potential and developed climbing resources are held in Private hands. As the many volunteers of the SCC and the CCC know, decisions on land management often come down to:

Over the last 20 years the Access Fund and the truly committed Volunteers of the SCC and The CCC have worked together to solve literally dozens of climbing closure and management issues throughout the Southeast including such notable victories as the purchases of Boat Rock, Laurel Knob, Foster Falls, Rumbling Bald, Asheboro Boulders, Yellow Wall and Steel Cliff AL, besides the many, many other management successes at virtually every other single crag in the Southeast where climbers are still climbing.
But these successes take time, commitment and MONEY! Once we buy an area we still have to manage it! So come celebrate and help us raise the monies needed to continue our huge success and have a totally great time with us doing it!! But we need you to sign up with us Now!!
WHERE: Stone Summit Climbing Gym in Atlanta, the single largest Climbing gym in the country! Home of the US World Cup.
WHEN: Feb 23rd 2013 from 7:00 pm to 2 am
WHO: Any and all climbers and friends in the Southeast 18 or older.
WHAT: Super High Ball Bouldering into a foam pit, Speed climbing, Sumo boulder-pad wrestling and other crazy/fun events. There will be Beer, food, Swag, awards, auctions, raffles and when the night gets long, a Light show/Slide show, DJ, Dance into the night celebration!!
HOW: Tickets will be sold at $25.00 a person. The first 500 ticket buyers will receive a Rock N Rave T-shirt, and other swag. Our goal is a minimum of 1,000 tickets! Maybe 1,500!
Vans and busloads of climbers have already been promised from Boone, Asheville, Chattanooga, Fayetteville and elsewhere in the southeast. We believe this will be the largest climbing event in the Southeast in 2013, maybe the country!
Outdoor Research has provided the seed money and T-shirts. We are now looking for 15 Presenting Sponsors.
The 15 PRESENTING SPONSORS, will be asked to provide $1,000 and 1,000 retail in Swag. In return for Booth space in the gym, Logos in all publications, national and Regional, Logos continuously shownin the slideshow/lightshow, Banners, logos on the Rock N Rave T-shirt and continuous call outs at the event, as well as post-event appreciation!
Sponsorship Monies are due by Jan 15, 2013, Product by 2/1/13.
