2 CCC Board Positions Open!

The Carolina Climbers Coalition is currently seeking a new Northern Mountains Representative as well as a Southern Piedmont Representative to join our volunteer Board of Directors.


Southern Piedmont Representative: The position is responsible for maintaining stewardship and access-related communications with land managers, and working with stakeholders to support the CCC and our mission. The main climbing areas in this region are Crowders, Dixon, Asheboro, Stony Mountain Vineyard, and the wider Inner Peaks community.  Additional responsibilities include attending quarterly board meetings, basic fundraising, and checking email regularly.  Folks interested should have good communication, a love for the area crags, a firm belief in the mission of the CCC, comfortability with fundraising, and a deep understanding of the area crags and boulders.  Above all else, anyone interested should bring the psych for pulling together the Carolina climbing community. Applications due by Nov 7. 

Northern Mountains Representative: The position is responsible for maintaining stewardship and access-related communications with land managers, and working with stakeholders to support the CCC and our mission. The main climbing areas in this region are High Country crags including Linville, Ship Rock, 221 Area, Buckeye Knob, as well as Hidden Valley.  Additional responsibilities include attending quarterly board meetings, basic fundraising, and checking email regularly.  Folks interested should have good communication, a love for the area crags, a firm belief in the mission of the CCC, comfortability with fundraising, and a deep understanding of the areas crags and boulders.  Above all else, anyone interested should bring the psych for pulling together the Carolina climbing community. Applications due by Oct 30.
