We climbers own the tallest cliff in Eastern America. Let's celebrate!

Come check out some of the longest and most classic lines in North Carolina! CCC Representative and long time Cashiers climber, Frost Walker, will lead climbers to the base of the wall and provide route info, history, quirks of Laurel climbing, and much more.  Check out this link with info for what to expect with the routes, the 2 mile approach, and parking. With the long approach and long routes, expect an all day affair and bring head lamps, personal first aid. If you plan to climb, bring everything you will need for a full day leading yourself up long routes. 2x 60m recommended. The CCC are not climbing instructors and all climbing activites performed will be on your own.

Meet in the Laurel Knob parking area at the end of Breedlove Rd.

$10 registration fee is a fundraiser for our access and trail building efforts.

Disclaimer: All climbing will be on your own, at your own risk, lead by you or someone else in your party. The CCC, as well as Frost, are not climbing instructors. Please bring your own gear for climbing activities and please know that the CCC does not lead climbing activities. We hope for this to be a great, small group event where climbers can meet up and share experiences. Beginners are welcome, just be sure you have someone with you that can lead and/or belay. The routes are Laurel Knob are long and often have committing run outs. Plan accordingly.
