Festival and Clinic Scholarship:

The scholarship is open to climbers who identify with a historically underrepresented and marginalized community. The goal of the scholarship is to provide an equitable opportunity for climbers to attain free access to the NC Climbers Festival and attain free outdoor climbing education. We want to continue to diversify the outdoors and prevent economic barriers. If you would like to apply please  email info@carolinaclimbers.org with 100-200 words how you would benefit from this scholarship.

 Want to Volunteer?
The NC Climbers Fest would not be possible without the help of Volunteers. If you want to volunteer for the Festival, please take a look at the Volunteer Descriptions. We are asking the Volunteers cover their cost for the vent shirt and saturday dinner($25).

If any of these suit you, please fill out our Volunteer Signup Form. and choose the Volunteer option for registration.

FAQ's:

GAMES?! From 3pm to 7pm is our game time back at Jomeokee Campground. Each vendor is expected to come with a game to play(each game should only take a minute or two). Play the games, get a raffle ticket.

THIS WILL BE A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT. Come prepared for the weather.

Can I bring my dog???: Dogs are allowed at the Campground. There are two other dogs that roam on the campground, a german shepard(Sofie) and a border collie(Cindy) both very friendly. PIlot Mountain and Hanging Rock State Park allow dogs on leashes.

I am a beginner climber and would like to attend, will you guide me up the rock???: All climbing activities are at your own risk. If you wish for a professional guide service, we recommend taking one of the clinics offered by professional guides. The CCC or its volunteers are not a guide service, however, we welcome new climbers. It is highly likely that if you follow the group of folks headed to the rock for community climb-times that you will find climbing partners. Community climb-time is not a professional service, not sponsored or promoted by the CCC, and climbing is at your own risk.

I have 5 friends and we each want to drive separately, is that okay???: There is plenty of parking at the campground, but try to Carpool to the crag if you can.

Alcohol???: It's allowed at camp, not at the crag. We will have beer, Kombucha, and other non alcoholic beverages too for purchase.

Kids???: Bring them! This festival will be fun for all ages. Use the Volunteer option to pay for each child. This covers their shirt camping and dinner.

Camping???: Dispersed Camping is included with the registration. This is camping in an open field, with a community fire pit. If youd like to have your own spot, or bring a camper/trailer please visit jomeokeecampground.com to book a site. Do not wait, they will go fast.
