Buffalo Creek Trail Day

Our C4 staff and CCC volunteers have been hard at work building the Upper Boulders Trail within Buffalo Creek Park. Help us finish strong and bring your adventure cap because FAs await!

There’s so much potential here, with about 80 problems established of an estimated 200+ potential, and 8 routes of an estimated 25+ potential. Current routes and problems are outlined on our website here: Buffalo Creek

This 1.4 mile trail-building project is made possible by support from REI Asheville and the RHI Legacy Foundation. You will see the trail highlighted in the new Pisgah Map Company "Hickory Nut Gorge" map, but please note that the trail is still under construction. The estimated finish is summer 2023.
