Are you making the transition from the gym to the crag or maybe you're new to the area or climbing and want to know how you can get outside? Within a 2 hour drive of the Triangle area climbers can find a wealth of boulder problems and routes at all levels.

Join Brian Payst, Northern Piedmont Representative for the Carolina Climbers Coalition, for an overview of the climbing spots close to home. Brian will cover what kinds of climbing you can find at Moore's Wall, Pilot Mountain, Sauratown and Asheboro as well as what to expect from the climbing there, access issues to keep in mind, route recommendations and more. He will also talk about the work of the CCC in protecting and expanding access to climbing opportunities in the Piedmont region. Join us for this casual and informative talk from a local climber like you.
