Whiteside Trail Day

Whiteside is a premier ice and multi-pitch climbing destination. For anyone who has had the pleasure of a full length route up the main wall, or an ice route on the north face, you likely agree. 

This day will be focused on clogging the many cut through trails in order to start helping Nantahala National Forest personell keep up with the maintenance needed on the summit trail. Our focus will be on the first 1/4 mile of the Whiteside Loop Trail, before the climber path to the main face. (Note; the climber path to the main face is not a system trail, therefore we can not work on it.). Bring hand saws, rakes, leaf blowers, gloves, and closed toed shoes. Also bring everything you need for a day in the woods.  If you plan to climb afterwards; bring your gear just in case!
