Join us and Triple Crown Bouldering for 29 Years of Hound Ears – Presented by La Sportiva! Get ready for the climbing event of the year at Hound Ears! Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your experience:

📅 Event Date: Saturday, October 5, 2024

📍 Location: Grandfather Campground, 125 Profile View Road, Banner Elk, NC 28604. Just 7.5 miles south of Boone on Highway 105.

🗺️ What’s New: Stay tuned for the digital Hound Ears Comp Guide, featuring updated boulder problems and maps. Download it to your phone to access all the essential info and help us reduce waste!

🚍 Transportation: Important: All competitors must take the provided buses to the boulderfield. No personal vehicles allowed. Buses start loading at 7:30am.

🏕️ Camping Info: Camping is available at Grandfather Campground for $7. Check in at the office upon arrival and camp only in designated areas.

🏨 Not Camping? There are many great hotels in Boone. Book early to ensure a spot!

👩‍👧‍👦 Under 18? Download and bring a completed waiver form signed by a parent or guardian. Accompanied by an adult is mandatory.

🐶 Dogs: No dogs allowed. Please leave pets at home to respect the landowners.

🚗 Parking: Ample parking is available at Foscoe Community Center. Please carpool and follow parking instructions to avoid towing.

🍕 Friday Night (October 4): Join us at 5:30pm for packet pick-up, pizza from Mellow Mushroom, and Pint Night at the Foscoe Community Center.

• Carolina Climbers Coalition Annual Public Meeting at Foscoe Community Center at 7:30pm.
