Asheboro Boulders Access Celebration

Join us on February 1st for a special celebration of access, conservation, and community at the Asheboro Boulders! We'll celebrate the State's ownership and the NC Zoo's incredible efforts in managing and permanently protecting this climbing gem.

This event is the first of many 30th Anniversary Access Celebrations the CCC will host in 2025. The day will feature:

• A talk about the history of access to the Asheboro Boulders.
• A tour of the climbing area.
• Community climbing, where attendees will break into groups to climb together and enjoy the day. 

All registered participants will be entered into a raffle for a free pair of climbing shoes, with two winners selected!

In case of inclement weather, this event will be canceled. We are not able to offer refunds in case of calcellation, but your registration fees go directly toward our conservation and access work.
