Trail Day: Ghost Town Trail Build

The main focus for the day will be extending the Chimney Rock Village Boulders trail towards the Lower Ghost Town property. Our goal is to establish a sustainable approach trail, for all user groups, to the main cliff base by April 2026 and will require a lot of public volunteer support.

Volunteers can expect a rigorous .5 - 1 mile hike to the worksite. Main tasks will be bench-cutting new trail, assisting with corridor-clearing & debris removal, and building features like locust log or stone steps. All tools and PPE will be provided. Rumbling Bald is located nearby if you wish to climb afterwards.
