Join the Access Fund Conservation Team and Carolina Climbers Coalition for volunteer stewardship days at Ghost Town, NC!

Dates: Saturdays Jan 17th - Feb 28th

Can't make one of the Saturdays? Reach out to coordinate coming out on a weekday Tuesday - Friday for the duration of the project.

Meeting Time & Location:

Meet at 9am at Chimney Rock Village Parking. ($5 per car to park)

Work wraps up around 3pm.

Project: We will work on creating new sustainable access to the crag after its historic acquisition by the Carolina Climbers Coalition.

Participants should expect to hike one mile uphill to the trail work areas.

For all Adopt a Crag events, please keep in mind the following:

Wear closed toed shoes. Long sleeves and pants are recommended.

Bring water, snacks, and extra layers for the elements.

Be prepared to be challenged, work hard, and gain karma points!

Work includes lifting and carrying up to 50-100 pounds, walking on unstable terrain, and being exposed to the elements (sun, rain, heat, cold, everything in between and beyond.)
