Join the Boone climbing and outdoor community for a special evening of film, storytelling, and conservation with filmmaker Jon Glassberg and his feature-length film Girl Climber — followed by a live panel discussion exploring the intersection of climbing, conservation, recreation, and community.

Girl Climber is an intimate, powerful portrait of professional climber Emily Harrington, capturing the emotional and physical realities of pursuing bold goals in the vertical world. Directed by Jon Glassberg — a former Boone resident and climber who once spent his days on the Howard Knob boulders — this screening marks a meaningful full-circle return.

All proceeds from this event will support the Blue Ridge Conservancy's recent purchase of Howard Knob.

The evening includes:
