SQC Ghost Town Trail Build

Join the Carolina Climbers Coalition for volunteer stewardship days at Ghost Town, NC!

Meeting Time & Location:

Meet at 9am at Chimney Rock Village Parking. ($5 per car to park)

Project: We will work on creating new sustainable access to the crag after its historic acquisition.

Participants should expect to hike one mile uphill to the trail work areas.

Stay and climb afterwards! 

Please keep in mind the following:

Wear closed toed shoes. Long sleeves and pants are recommended.

Bring water, snacks, and extra layers for the elements.

Be prepared to be challenged, work hard, and gain karma points!

Work includes lifting and carrying up to 50-100 pounds, walking on unstable terrain, and being exposed to the elements (sun, rain, heat, cold, everything in between and beyond.)
