2026 North Carolina Climbers Fest

Online registration is closed. If you would like to attend this event, you can register in person at FirstHand Climbing (1024 N Chestnut St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101) at 4PM on Saturday May 23rd.

Event Update: As you may have seen, the forecast for this weekend is looking like a washout. Rather than wait and hope for things to clear up, we have decided to pivot the format of this event to make it possible for the community to still gather for a celebration. Please read this full email for the updated event plan and schedule.

A HUGE thank you to FirstHand Climbing, who has offered to host the community festival portion of this event. FirstHand is graciously offering climbing access at the gym to all registered NC Fest attendees. 

Updated Event Schedule

Check-In

Location: FirstHand Climbing 1024 N Chestnut St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101

Time: Saturday 4 - 5 PM

Check in at the CCC table to receive your drink tiket, festival t-shirt*, and NC Fest Bingo card. We will also be selling raffle tickets and CCC merch at the CCC table. 

*shirts are only available to attendees who registered by the t-shirt deadline of May 1*

Indoor Climbing

Location: FirstHand Climbing 1024 N Chestnut St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101

Time: Saturday 4 - 7 PM

FirstHand is allowing all NC Fest participants to climb at the gym! Please be sure to RSVP if you plan to climb. 

Vendor Village Games, CCC Raffle, Films, Beer and Dinner

Location: FirstHand Climbing 1024 N Chestnut St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101

Time: Saturday 4 - 7:30 PM

The vendor village will feature a variety of CCC-supporting businesses. When you check in, you will be given an NC Fest Bingo Card (see attached for a preview!). Vendors will host a small game at their table. When you participate in the game, you will mark off that box on your bingo card. 3 in a row = a free raffle ticket. A full card = 3 free raffle tickets! The CCC table will also be selling raffle tickets for a raffle stacked with epic prizes from our sponsors including ropes, backpacks, branded merch and more!

Food and Drink

Your festival registration includes 1 drink ticket. Redeem your drink ticket for beer, NA beer, or La Croix at the CCC table. We will have beer from Fiddlin' Fish Brewery. After you’ve redeemed your drink ticket, additional drinks can be purchased for a suggested donation to the CCC. Unfortunately, the food truck that we booked for this event had an emergency issue with their truck, and they are no longer able to provide dinner at NC Fest. We are still figuring out what the plan for food is but we'll be sure to have food available.

Films

Location: FirstHand Climbing 1024 N Chestnut St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101

Time: Saturday 5:30 - 7 :30

We will be screening the Climbing Film Tour films.

Raffle

Location: FirstHand Climbing 1024 N Chestnut St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101

Time: Saturday 6:30PM

We will be selling raffle tickets at the CCC table starting at 4PM. Raffle will be called at 6:30/7 PM. 

Clinics and Guided Experiences

You clinic provider will contact you with updates on your clinic or guided experience. 

FAQ

Rain?: In the event of a storm, we will cancel the event. We can not offer refunds, but your registration fee will be used to maintain and gain access to our many climbing areas. 

Kid-friendly?: Yes, we love kids

Will you be serving alcoholic beverages?: Yes, we will have beer by donation available during the vendor village portion of the event on Saturday night.
