Night at the Museum
Come join us for our 8th annual Night at the Climbing Museum inside Black Dome Mountain Sports in Asheville. The evening will feature a slideshow by climbing pioneer Tom Howard. Tom was a prolific explorer, claiming first ascents on many of our now classic climbs. Linn Cove Lullaby and Edge of a Dream at Ship, Air Show and Zoo View at Moores, Dopey Duck and Straight and Narrow at Short Off; these lines were the work of Tom Howard.
The "Illness" is a short film made by three Southeastern climbers attempted to free an old aid route in the Wind River Range. Check out the preview of this award-winning film here.
The evening will include a CCC raffle and silent auction to help raise funds for the ongoing stewardship and access efforts of the CCC. Free event.
