We have some very exciting news! The CCC has developed a parking agreement with Whitesides Cove Cabins, which provides CCC member parking on the Cabin property. Our sincere thanks to Whiteside Cove Cabins! What does that mean for you as a CCC member? By way of a free eventbrite reservation, you will be able to park at the Whiteside Cove Cabin property, which abuts National Forest lands. With some luck, you may find a wide swath of climbing opportunities, with past climbing precedent, located 1-2 miles north west of the parking area. Previous access to these climbing zones were either through trespassing or a 4 mile bushwhack. This parking agreement eliminates the 4 mile mile bushwhack and gives CCC members with a parking pass a legal place to park. Like most of our national forest climbing areas, there are no trails in the region. Please practice leave no trace. Research where you are going ahead of time to ensure you do not trespass onto private property. We recommend using GAIA GPS and turn on the private property layer so that you know if you are certain you are on public land. Research all of this at home before going. In order to park at Whiteside Cove Cabins, you must reserve a free spot here, and you must have a current CCC membership OR rent out one of their great cabins!
