Moores Wall Parking Expansion: Wow! You all have delivered. In the last week we have raised nearly $3000 for the Moores Wall Parking Expansion! In total, that is $23,160 with a final goal of $28,000. We have approval from the state park and have contractors ready to build. See below for events to get you involved. Thank YOU! McKinney Gap: Our C4 Team has been cranking away at the newly opened McKinney Gap Boulders. With the C4 Team plus volunteer help, we have built over one mile of trail! Stony Mountain Vineyard Boulders: Our C4 Team has been out working at the Vineyard Boulders for a few months, braving the heat! Visit our website under climbing areas for beta and please consider supporting our C4 Trail Team building this needed infrastructure! These boulders are located near Albemarle, NC and are our closest climbing to Columbia, SC and the SC coast. Eagle Rock Graffiti Removal: In 2018, we opened the Eagle Rock Crags to climbing and bouldering. This past month, CCC volunteers worked with the state park to clean up over a dozen graffitti tags. Thank you CCC volunteers! Booneshine Brewery Event to Celebrate Buckeye Knob, Aug 20 12-6: This past year, CCC members paid off and permanently conserved Buckeye Knob and Barn Boulders, completed the Buckeye Parking, and completed the trail system. Time to celebrate with a CCC- inspired crafted brew at Booneshine called "Dead Point Ale" . Come on out! Music, food, vendors, and more! Come on out to Booneshine Brewery in Boone, NC Rocky Fork State Park: This past year, the CCC worked with Rocky Fork State Park to open the Whitehouse Cliffs to climbing. It turns out, they are quite good! Local climbers have been adding to this beta document outlining the routes that have been established. Enjoy!
