Advocacy Updates

The EXPLORE Act

In April, the House passed the EXPLORE Act, a first-of-its-kind package of outdoor recreation policy that would improve and expand outdoor recreation on America's public lands and waters. Among the highlights:

  • The PARC Act will safeguard Wilderness climbing.
  • The BOLT Act will create more long-distance bike trails.
  • The SOAR Act will modernize recreational permitting for guides and outfitters.
  • The EXPLORE Act would also help land managers coordinate their efforts to improve access to nature and expand green space. The House has passed EXPLORE, and now you can ask your Senators to pass it. It takes just two minutes.

Bolt Replacement Updates

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our 2024 bolt replacement campaign! We successfully raised $5,000 and thanks to our dedicated volunteers, we've replaced 155 damaged bolts so far this year. This is a significant achievement, considering some days bolts are so challenging to remove, we can only manage to replace a single bolt. Your contributions and support have made a BIG difference - Thank You!
