Ship Rock Temporarily Inaccessible

The Blue Ridge Parkway is closed in the section surrounding Ship Rock, due to a resurfacing project. Effective immediately, Ship Rock will be inaccessible for an estimated 3-4 week period, hopefully opening toward the end of June 2026. Parkway officials ask to stay out of the Ship Rock area during road construction. Variances of approaches are not acceptable at this time.  Stay tuned here for updates.
