C4 on Indefinite Pause

Thanks to the great work of our C4 Team, we have surpassed our trail goals and have collectively gained so much in the process! With the eight of our C4 Team members, we worked on 4 climbing sites, built over 2 miles of sustainable climbers trail, became an active part of opening two new climbing areas, installed hundreds of steps and grade dips. The Pumpkintown Trail was the biggest focus of C4, but you can also see their handy work at Big Rock, SC, Rocky Fork, TN, and Melrose Mountain, NC. With the CCC's seeded investment included, we were able to raise $42,000 from the climbing community during one of the most difficult economic times in recent history. 100% of those funds were earned by the C4 Team, and the giving that others had done was certainly worth their investment. In total, the C4 Team tallied 1700 hours of stewardship work in three states! Amazing! Tom Caldwell, our President and volunteer leader of C4 independently tallied 200 hours of volunteer work, in addition to recruiting dozens... maybe hundreds of volunteers to come help!

Thank you donors, volunteers, and C4 Team members! We hope to run the program again in the future.
