JEDI Open Board Position

The Carolina Climbers Coalition is currently seeking a new J.E.D.I. (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) board member to join our volunteer Board of Directors, with the position beginning in May 2023.  

The goal of this board position is to help foster and build a strong, diverse, and inclusive community of climbers in the Carolinas and beyond.  Additional responsibilities include attending quarterly board meetings, organizing or attending a public CCC event at least once a year, and checking email regularly.  Folks interested should have good communication skills, a love for the crags that CCC owns and maintains, a love for the Carolina climbing community and ability to help make it grow, a firm belief in the mission of the CCC, and a deep understanding of area crags and boulders.  Above all else, anyone interested should bring the psych for pulling together the Carolina climbing community.

Rep".  In less than one page, summarize your experience climbing in the region, your interest in leading the CCC's mission, and how your experience can help the climbing community and crags. Please include any professional or volunteer experience in D.E.I. work, or experience within the climbing and outdoor industries.
