The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Department of the Interior (DOI) just released draft language responding to the EXPLORE Act, a sweeping recreational bill that includes the PARC Act (Protecting America's Rock Climbing Act). This is our nation’s first nation-wide policy on fixed anchors, and you have a chance to help shape that policy on USFS, NPS, BLM, and USFW lands.

When Hurricane Helene struck in 2024, a landslide wiped out roughly 100 feet of the Wildcat Rock Trail — the primary access route to the rock and ice climbing area at Little Bearwallow Falls. CCC's C4 Crew partnered with Conserving Carolina to bring the trail back stronger than before, completing nearly 500 hours of work across 62 crew days. The team constructed two stone staircases with approximately 20 steps, built multi-tiered retaining walls, and restored and armored the damaged trail section with improved
