Adam Johnson - SC Rep

I was lucky enough to spend my younger years between the Jocassee Gorges and Pisgah National Forest, growing up in Brevard, North Carolina. This environment provided the perfect backdrop to learn to love and appreciate the outdoors of Southern Appalachia. I discovered bouldering 15 years ago and have never looked back. Since then, climbing has taken me to 17 states, 7 countries, and 3 continents. It has built all of my most meaningful relationships, and provided a critical creative and athletic outlet.

I currently live in Clemson, South Carolina, where I get to share a home with my amazing wife, Beth Anne Johnson. I fully embrace the weekend warrior lifestyle, spending half of my time as a licensed civil engineer, and the other half wondering around the backwoods of the southeast looking for rocks that are just the right size.

Hopefully with my time here I can give something back to the climbing community that has given so much to me.
