Directions from Brevard, NC to Looking Glass Rock North Side Parking

  1. Start in downtown Brevard and head north on US-276 (Pisgah Hwy) into Pisgah National Forest.

  2. Stay on US-276 North for approximately 11.5 miles. You’ll pass landmarks like the Pisgah Ranger Station, Looking Glass Falls, and Sliding Rock.

  3. Look for Forest Road 475B on your left—it comes up shortly after Wagon Road Gap and the Blue Ridge Parkway overpass. This is the northern entrance to FR 475B.
📍 Note: There's a brown Forest Service sign marking the road, but it’s easy to miss—drive slowly as you approach this turn.

  4. Turn left onto FR 475B and continue for about 3.5 miles on this gravel forest road.

  5. Look for a gravel pullout on the left for the North Face parking. If this is full, drive another 1000+ feet to the Nose/ Sunwall parking and walk the road back.
