We’re excited to announce a new feature on the CCC website: custom weather forecasts for every climbing area page, powered by our friends at Climbit!

Each area now includes a weather widget that offers hyperlocal, climbing-specific forecasts for your favorite crags in the Southeast. No more guessing - plan your climbing trips around the best conditions.

Best of all, the widget includes exclusive forecasts for CCC-owned locations like Maibauer Boulders, Buckeye Knob, and Sauratown - forecasts you won’t find anywhere else online. This helps our community better plan for great conditions while highlighting the unique value of CCC-managed properties.

Here’s how it works: the widget highlights the best hour to climb based on real-time weather data. Click the graph and scroll through the week to find the best time to climb. Want even more control? Click through to ClimbitScore.com, where you can customize your forecast settings based on your personal climbing style - whether you’re chasing high-performance friction or a comfortable day at the crag.
