Trail Daze of Summer 2025
Join the CCC and On the Road and Off for Trail Daze of Summer —a season-long push to improve trails, embrace the suck of the summer heat, and build community around stewardship. Sponsored by Black Diamond and On the Road and Off, these volunteer trail days focus on much-needed maintenance at CCC climbing areas.
If you attend any three trail days this summer—whether Trail Daze events or other public trail days—you’ll be entered into the End of Daze Prize Raffle for major Black Diamond gear giveaways.
Upcoming Trail Daze Events
Big Rock Trail Daze (SC)
Date: July 12, 2025
Location: Big Rock Parking Lot
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
We’ll be hauling in materials, replacing worn-out steps with longer-lasting locust stairs, and hardening areas to prevent erosion.
This event will have giveaways for attendees from Black Diamond!

Looking Glass Rock Trail Daze (NC)
Date: August 16, 2025
Location: Looking Glass Rock North Side Parking
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Help us improve drainage, add new trail structures, and bench cut eroded sections of trail.

End of Daze Party
Date: August 16, 2025
Location: The Nest, Pisgah Forest
Celebrate the end of summer trail work with food, drinks, and good company. This gathering takes place after the Looking Glass Trail Daze event and is open to all. Volunteers who attended three or more trail days this summer will be entered into our Black Diamond raffle happening during this event, with big prizes as a thank-you for your hard work.
